pleasure.
I was born 40 miles west of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and raised in
Wagontown, PA. where the excitement spans about as far as you can throw a
cow patty. Photography captured my fascination when my stepfather shared his
Canon Ftb 35mm SLR with me for the first time. I started feeding my interest
in photography in the ninth grade by shooting for my high school yearbook.
After high school I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and majored
in Interior Design. While at IUP I made close friends with some great guys
in a band who helped feed my passion by letting me shoot them for promos and
editorials. One day after college, I received a call from one of my friends
from the band and was asked if I would be interested in working for a stock
photography agency. It was a blessing. I loved photography, and the
opportunity could not have been more appreciated. The agency moved its
headquarters to Jacksonville, where I worked with some of the best
photographers in the business on some of the most diverse assignments;
ranging from sports, lifestyle, fashion and food, to interiors and fine art.
I've been working for myself for six years since 1995, and my work and
clients are equally diverse. I have a working expertise in color, black and
white, and digital photography. I am also a well-trained and extremely
experienced image editor, specializing in image composite and retouching.
